How to apply for Financial Aid

1. Apply and Gain Admission to Geneva

Although you can begin the FAFSA immediately*, financial aid packages will be calculated after your admission is finalized.

*2024-25 FAFSA will be available in December 2023

Application for Admission

2. Create Your FSA ID

The FSA ID created through the U.S. Department of Education at studentaid.gov is used to identify your account for federal funding throughout your career as a student. Undergraduate students and their parent(s), if applicable, must create their own FSA IDs.

3. Submit Your FAFSA

To maximize your financial aid, it's essential to file your FAFSA as early as possible*. You can do this at studentaid.gov. Log in with your FSA ID and use the IRS Data Direct Exchange to easily consent and retrieve your income and tax information. Add Geneva College as a school on your FAFSA, so we can receive your application (school code: 003267).

*2024-25 FAFSA will be available in December 2023

4. Monitor Your Application Status Starting Nov. 1

You can stay abreast of your financial aid status or any requirements by visiting your Admissions Portal at http://apply.ebasd.com.

5. Apply for Student Loans

Initiate the loan application process from May onwards through finaid.ebasd.com. To ensure that your loan(s) are reflected on your account when the bill is sent, it is advisable to complete the loan process by mid-June.

6. Notify Geneva College

Inform the Financial Aid Office with information regarding any external or private scholarships, grants, or loans you may secure.

Financial aid packages at Geneva College are processed continuously, commencing on November 1*. Students can expect to receive their financial aid package within approximately four weeks of submitting all the required documents.

*Due to the delayed launch of simplified FAFSA for 2024-25, financial aid packages will begin in January.
